Delete your Stock data

This page explains how to delete the data of Stock, the shopping list app by Clearpoint Studios (Google Play: app.stock.list).

Inside the app

  1. Open Stock and go to the More tab.
  2. Under Privacy, tap Delete all data and confirm.

This first removes you from every shared list on the server (your membership and display name, and the list itself if you were its last member), deletes your share and join log, and then erases everything stored on the phone. If the server cannot be reached, nothing is deleted and the app tells you, so you can try again.

For a single list you can also open the list's members and tap Leave list, or, as its owner, Stop sharing, which deletes the list, its items and its trips on the server for everyone.

Without the app

If you already uninstalled Stock, write to clearpointstudios@proton.me with the subject "Stock data deletion". Include the six character code of any list you shared or joined, and the display name you used on it, so we can find your records. If you wrote to us through support, mention roughly when. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Items you added to a list that other members still use stay on that list for them. Lists you never shared, your staples, trips and settings were only ever on your phone; uninstalling the app or Delete all data removes them. Server backups are overwritten within 30 days.
